Chemin des Crêtes via the summit of Puy de la Perdrix
Exiting to the right of the cable car, you can admire the magnificent panorama of the Chaudefour Valley. By following the path, you will quickly reach the summit of Puy de la Perdrix, where an orientation table awaits you. From up there, enjoy a 360° view that takes in the Puy de Dôme, the Chaudefour Valley, the Puy de Cacadogne< /strong> and the Puy des Crébasses. On your right, the majestic Puy de Champgourdeix and Puy de Chambourguet dominate Super Besse. On the other side, the Puy de la Perdrix stands proudly facing the Puy de Paillaret, the Puy Gros >, and at the Fontaine Salée. Facing south, a superb view opens up over the Monts du Cantal.
Descent towards Puy Ferrand
Continue your hike towards Puy Ferrand to reach the Col de la Cabane. From this pass, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of Mont Dore, Roc de Cuzeau, Pan de la Grange and Puy des Crébasses. Opposite, the path takes you directly to the summit of Puy de Sancy.
Direction Puy Gros and Col de la Cabane
Take left when leaving the Perdrix cable car to join the hiking trail towards Puy de Sancy. Head towards Puy Gros to bypass Puy de la Perdrix and Puy Ferrand. Along the way, you will enjoy a lovely panorama of the Puy de Paillaret, the Fontaine Salée and the Monts du Cantal. At Col de la Cabane, follow the path to Puy de Sancy.
Return to Super Besse from Puy de Sancy
To reach Super Besse, go to the arrival station of the Sancy Cable Car, and slowly descend towards the Super Besse station. This walk is accessible to everyone, offering a memorable experience for hikers and nature lovers.
